Not just for the floors put your wood up on the wall
Most of what we do is all about the flooring and we get that since we are a flooring company. But every so often we get an inquiry for wood on the walls and we love it. Our wood can make your interior that much more warm and organic on the walls as it can on the floors. Let's take a look at some great projects.
This is perhaps the biggest job we have ever seen. A high school in suburban Pittsburgh really went for using our antique remilled oak for multiple massive wall applications. The remilled oak is set off by very contemporary design and that is always the best for reclaimed wood.
The gleaming surfaces are brought back to level by the warm colors and beautiful knot content of the remilled oak. The wood on wall applications does not necessarily have to be finished and can be left in its natural state.
These fantastic lighting fixtures again put the modern against the antique perfectly. Warm lighting and warm reclaimed wood strike a powerful aesthetic balance. Let's take a look at a more intimate look of wood on the wall.
This look is weathered siding so not actually flooring but nonetheless our wood on a clients wall. Pulled straight off the barn and milled perfectly this look has the same effect as the remilled oak in giving warmth to an interior. But you are not limited to the interior by any means.
Weathered siding has stood on the old barns for a very long time so putting it up on your home is an easy decision.
Weathered siding comes out as a mix of brownboard and grey weathered siding and the look is fantastic. The dimples and knots create a strong visual element. So be creative and get in touch today and think outside of the box with our wood!
