Whats not to love about an organic stain and white oak?
Another stunning project using the most versatile flooring choice we sell, reclaimed white oak. This project combines a wide plank reclaimed white oak all 8". This is our remilled grade oak which normally combines both a red and white oak mix. This customer chose to have us sort out the red oak leaving just the lighter coloration of the white oak.
The customer chose our favorite finish when it comes to reclaimed woods, organic oil. Rubio Monocoat pure oil does a fantastic job of protecting your floor but more importantly it does not interefere with the look of your reclaimed flooring. The sheen is an absolute flat matte. Having a matte sheen means the floor does not end up with a plastic or fake look to it.
Removing the red oak from the grade leaves you with a more uniform color throughout. The red oaks would normally add an amber hue to the coloration.
Take it to the next level! We offer a full package of stairs and landing nosings so you can have that flooring everywhere you want.
Hardwood flooring is particulalry hard to photograph and capture the color correctly but this photo gets it right. Remilled grade white oak is the lightest variation of the reclaimed oaks and this picture makes clear. You will still see all the fantastic knot and grain variation that makes reclaimed wood so special but without the heavy dark tones.
