Get your project going with our horse fence oak
February is wrapping up and before you know it the windows will be open and spring will be here so it's time to get your flooring project going. We have the perfect solution in our antique horse fence oak.
This beauty comes from fence post materials and it shows. Made of red and white oaks you will see saw kerf blackened by exposure scattered across the floor. Just like all of our reclaimed wood there will be lots of great knots and fascinating grain patterns throughout.
Now we aren't sure what is going on but suddenly this look and this floor are hot. We are getting lots of inquiries and sales with this floor and I think I know why. The price point is at $6.50 per square foot and that is well below in what most reclaimed floors go for. So you get the look without breaking the bank! You also have the option of having the mill plane the plank surface smooth for a whole different look.
The floor is solid 3/4" with a consistent 4-1/2" plank face. Use an organic oil on it to get maximum gorgeousness from the wood. It is our considered opinion that any sheen beyond matte just kind of ruins it. But that is just our opinion! Get in touch today for samples and get that spring project under way!
